2011

Current position
Special Process Manager

Tell us briefly about yourself and your current position at BODE. How did you end up working for BODE?

My name is Tomasz, I am 43 years old and I work as a Special Processes Manager at BODE in Poland. I joined BODE in 2011 and initially managed the monitoring of the welding process. Over time, I started to support the monitoring of the bonding process, first as a manager with experience in monitoring welding standards. Later I obtained a diploma as a bonding engineer and took over the supervision of two bonding processes. Due to my extensive experience in welding supervision, I now support supervision throughout the BODE Group.

What tasks are part of your daily work routine?

My daily tasks include monitoring and developing processes in accordance with standards and customer requirements. I appreciate the variety in my work as there is never any routine or boredom. I have particularly enjoyed projects where there was no previous experience, such as welding aluminium on a robot. My work is challenging and unpredictable, but achieving goals or finding solutions is extremely satisfying.

What does teamwork look like at BODE?

Collaboration is key, and my work requires teamwork at all levels of the organisation - from top management to the production staff who are directly involved in the process. It is an interesting experience to find common solutions to sometimes contradictory goals, such as producing quickly, cost-effectively and with high quality, always in accordance with the regulations.

How does BODE support the professional development of its employees?

Personally, I appreciate the continuous development of the entire organisation at BODE. Even if you are not always satisfied with everything, we are constantly changing and striving for further development. Employees always have the opportunity for personal development, a job change or, in some cases, to take on management positions. I myself have already taken part in several seminars and training courses to further my education.

What advice would you give to new employees who are just starting at BODE?

I hope that new employees find a job that really fulfils them, because a pleasant job contributes significantly to personal happiness.
