Tell us briefly about yourself and your current position at BODE. How did you end up working for BODE?

My name is Daniel Grunert. I am 31 years old, and I am the Segment manager of warehouse logistics at BODE. My professional journey at BODE began in 2011 with my apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist followed by my work as a logistics manager. Over time, I then took over project coordination in logistics and have now been working as a segment manager in warehouse logistics since 2023.

What tasks are part of your daily work routine?

My daily tasks include monitoring the logistics project business, continuously optimizing existing processes, ensuring smooth production processes, and supporting the professional development of employees. The variety and diversity of my tasks and the many development opportunities make my work special for me.

Is there a project at BODE that you particularly enjoyed working on? Why?

The digitization of warehouse logistics processes using SAP is a project that I enjoyed and, above all, was a big step into the future!

What does teamwork look like at BODE?

In our team, we attach great importance to cooperation – whether within warehouse logistics or with other departments. Teamwork is paramount, and communication takes place at eye level. I would encourage new employees to be open to new things and to appreciate values such as honesty, teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.

What advice would you give to new employees who are just starting at BODE?

I would encourage new employees to be open to new things and to appreciate values such as honesty, teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.
